5 misunderstandings to judge the quality of feed

　 1. It is not necessarily a good thing to sleep when you eat it.
Pigs have a certain habit of living, that is, eating, activities, rest, and sleeping. In particular, piglets under 40 kg have a certain amount of play and play every day around noon. When I eat it, I sleep because a sedative (hypnotic) is added to the feed. After eating, the pig will destroy normal physiological functions and sleep due to anesthesia.
2. The fishy smell is not equal to the fishmeal in the feed.
Some pig farmers tend to assess the amount of fishmeal in the feed and the quality of the concentrate in terms of the size of the fish in the feed. This is not true. In the current market, there is an additive called fish musk. When added to the feed, it appears to have a strong fishy smell, reminding pig farmers to recognize this.
3. The color of the stool does not mean that the feed is good or bad.
To assess the quality of the feed depends on the level of feed conversion. The normal color of the stool is determined by the composition of the feed and the digestion and absorption capacity of the pig. Some pig farmers think that the feed for black manure is good, and the feed for yellow manure is not good. In order to cater to the pig farmers' psychology, some feed manufacturers added substances that have no effect on the growth and development of pigs, such as humic acid and copper of 160 mg/kg or more, and these substances have no obvious growth promoting effect.
4. The skin color of the pig does not represent the quality of the feed.
Some pig farmers think that the pig's skin is red and the feed is good. The skin color of the pig and the brightness of the capillary are determined by the amount of nutrients (mainly protein, fat, vitamins, etc.) in the feed. Some feed manufacturers increase the content of selenium and copper in the feed, making the skin of the pig red, but a large amount of selenium and copper remain in the pork, which is seriously harmful after eating.
5. Pig bite does not equal the nutritional insufficiency in the feed.
If the pig does not get the necessary nutrients for a long time, there will be pica, such as salt, protein or certain vitamins and trace elements. However, in general, manufacturers of regular production feeds will not be seriously deficient. There are several reasons for pig tail biting: density of pigs, environmental conditions in pig houses, light intensity problems and lack of certain nutritional problems. However, according to field observations, biting pigs are mostly between 10 kg and 40 kg, and pig tails of about 20 kg are particularly serious. Lactating piglets or pigs over 40 kg in weight rarely occur.
