Solid wood furniture industry fuzzy material purchase beware of being fooled

Elm is marked as black walnut, and only one kind of multiple materials is used for fuzzy materials. Recently, the furniture industry has frequently exposed the incident that enterprises impersonate high-end materials with low-grade materials, which damages customers and humiliates the industry. The investigation found that the products sold on the Beijing market had relatively regular material labeling. Experts reminded consumers that when purchasing furniture and signing a contract, they must clearly label the tree species and origin of the product so that they can be deceived to defend their rights.

 

 

       Solid wood furniture is generally divided by tree species, and the price of precious furniture is naturally high. Consumers pay more attention to tree species when buying solid wood furniture. However, there have been reports recently that furniture manufacturers of certain brands mistakenly wrote other tree species on the tree species signs, which caused huge economic losses to consumers, and consumers could not afford to cry.

 

On March 29, the Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau of Guangdong Province announced the quality sampling report of 9 products including furniture, which caused an uproar. According to the report, eight batches of solid wood furniture species from Guangdong "hang sheep's heads and sell dog meat", including high-end furniture that is nominally rosewood.

 

The relevant person in charge of the Guangdong Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision said that the unqualified tree species project will cause consumers to buy products that are not the company's express wood species, causing huge economic losses to consumers.

 

A total of 169 batches of furniture ( metal furniture , dark and precious hardwood furniture) produced by 145 enterprises in 8 cities (districts) including Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan and Shunde were inspected . Among them, 129 batches passed the inspection and the qualified rate of product sampling batches was 76.3%; excluding only 26 batches with unqualified marks, the qualified rate of physical product quality was 91.7%.
