EnergyTrend said that the trend of polysilicon price increases has been determined. At present, the first-tier manufacturers have negotiated the contract price of polysilicon in the first quarter, and only a few manufacturers are still negotiating the details. Based on the current contract price, the price range provided by each factory for index customers is between US$28/kg and US$30/kg, while the average customer is US$30/kg-$40/kg. On the other hand, end-user demand for high-efficiency silicon is still strong, but only some silicon companies can provide more than 17% of products. According to EnergyTrend, some silicon wafers have already sold out in January. At present, the price has been negotiated with customers for the price in February. On the other hand, although Taiwan's photovoltaic cell factory benefited from the influx of North American orders and significantly increased capacity utilization, EnergyTrend's survey found that most of the relevant orders are for large PV systems, taking into account the overall cost and return on investment, currently The demand for high-efficiency photovoltaic products is not strong, but it is mostly normal. Therefore, the quotations of downstream photovoltaic cells and photovoltaic module factories are still relatively flat, and only a small number of high-efficiency photovoltaic products began to increase the price to test the market reaction.
