Before starting the pump, users simply need to set the upper and lower pressure limits on the electric contact pressure gauge and define the pressure holding time on the digital timer relay. Then, they can start the test either via remote control or by pressing the pump’s start button. During the pressure test, the operator can adjust the speed of the pump motor by turning the inverter knob, allowing for precise control over the pressure increase rate and duration.
Once the target pressure is reached, the pump automatically stops and enters the pressure-holding phase. If the pressure drops below the set lower limit, the pump will automatically restart to compensate and return to the upper limit. When the system reaches the required pressure, an alarm will sound, and the pump will either relieve pressure automatically through a high-pressure solenoid valve or manually via a pressure relief valve.
Throughout the test, the pump continuously displays the pressure curve in real time and automatically records the pressure increase, holding process, and related data. The digital recorder will fully print out the entire boost and pressure-holding process, ensuring a detailed record of the test. The pressure acquisition system also allows real-time display of pressure values and curves, automatically saves the recorded data, and generates printable historical reports.
In addition, the digital display recorder and variable frequency flow control system can be directly connected to a computer (or laptop) via a data cable. Through the background software, users can monitor the test status, pressure values, and pressure curves in real time. They can also generate and print test reports at any time, and the electronic files can be edited as needed.
