Comparison of fertilizer sales over the same period

As can be seen from the figure, in November 2012, China's fertilizer industry achieved a total sales volume of 66 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.6% and a year-on-year increase of 1.2%. However, in terms of sales ratio, the overall sales rate of fertilizers in November was 96.9%, a year-on-year decrease of 0.02 percentage points and a decrease of 1.00 percentage point from the previous quarter. This shows that the recovery in sales due to winter storage and price decline has gradually subsided.

From January to November, total fertilizer sales were 666.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18.3%. Over the same period, the overall sales rate of fertilizers (96.9%) was down by 0.47 percentage points from the same period of last year, of which the sales rate of potash rose by 4.89 percentage points year-on-year, and the recovery momentum was still the strongest. However, the 86.2% level was still the lowest in all sub-sectors.

According to sub-industry statistics, the cumulative sales of nitrogen fertilizers, phosphate fertilizers, potash fertilizers, and compound fertilizers were 228.3 billion yuan, 699.1 billion yuan, 21 billion yuan, and 285.4 billion yuan, respectively, accounting for 34.2%, 10.4%, 3.2%, and 42.8 respectively. %. Compared with the same period of last year, nitrogen fertilizer decreased by 1.8 percentage points, and phosphate fertilizer, potash fertilizer and compound fertilizer increased by 0.7, 0.2 and 0.3 percentage points respectively.

According to regional statistics, the three provinces with the highest sales of fertilizers in China in the first 11 months were Shandong, Hubei, and Henan, which together accounted for 40.7% of the country's total sales, roughly the same level as the same period of last year.
