Recently, Justice Frangipane’s R&D team and iDevices have jointly launched an iPhone handset back shell that can be used as a game controller. This device is light and portable, and it also has the function of solar charging for mobile phones.
The iPhone shell, called FlipSide, is essentially a game controller that uses Bluetooth 4.0 technology to connect with a mobile phone. More powerfully, this iPhone case also incorporates a combination of sensitive solar cell and thin-film battery devices manufactured by Infinite Power Solutions, which can continuously charge the cell phone even in the light of the room. This configuration liberates people from the data line and the wall outlets and allows them to enter the game with peace of mind.
The only challenge at the moment is how to produce this phone case. The R&D team is currently seeking a fundraising plan in an attempt to make FlipSide a realistic device. They also said that if they can successfully raise funds and produce this device, they will also develop Android version of the FlipSide phone case.
