Easy measurement method for tool depth in parts (figure)

Figure 1 is the shape of the part of a certain product of our factory. The depth of the inner control blade to the end face is extremely important to the performance of the product. In order to make the depth of the part in the mass production within the required range, we refer to the conventional step depth. The gauge design has an eccentric bushing gauge (Fig. 2). The gauge has the characteristics of simple structure, convenient use, easy maintenance and long service life. It has been widely used in the actual production of our factory. The working principle and requirements of the measuring tool are described below.

(1) Working principle

In order to measure the depth of the lower end of the inner control blade of the part to the end face of the 32 mm hole, we use an eccentric sleeve gauge to measure, rotate the rotary handle by hand to the minimum eccentricity, put the measuring rod into the part control slot, and then Then use the rotary handle to rotate the measuring rod to the maximum eccentricity so that the bottom surface of the measuring rod contacts the bottom end surface of the workpiece control slot. By means of the feeling of finger touch, or by means of observing the optical gap with the knife edge, it is confirmed that the upper end surface of the measuring rod is located in the sleeve. The step of the tube is between 0. 3mm, or flush with either end of the step, and the measured size is qualified.

(2) Gage requirements

1 The measuring rod requires the upper and lower working surfaces to be ground to achieve the pattern requirements and extend its service life; to make the measuring rod rotate without obstruction after assembly, the precision of the fit with the sleeve is high (see Figure 3).

The measurement requirements are sufficient, so the dimensional accuracy requirements are not high (see Figure 4).
