What are the import and export equipment in supermarkets?

Supermarket entry and exit systems often feature two types of sensors for automatic doors: infrared sensing and radar sensing. These technologies help ensure smooth and hands-free access for customers. Infrared sensing systems typically include a slim post in front of the main doorframe, which houses the sensor in its center. On one side of this post, there’s usually an infrared emitter, while on the opposite side, you’ll find a reflector—similar to the kind used on bike lights. When the system is active, a beam of red light travels from the emitter to the reflector, completing a circuit. As soon as a customer walks past, blocking the infrared beam, the sensor detects this interruption and sends a signal to the main door column, triggering it to open. Radar sensing systems, on the other hand, don’t require visible posts in front of the door. Instead, the sensor is built directly into the main column itself. This setup creates an invisible detection zone that extends roughly a meter outward from the column. No matter whether you're walking straight toward the door or approaching it from the side, as long as you’re within this sensing range, the system will detect your presence and send a signal to open the door automatically. These technologies not only enhance convenience but also improve safety and efficiency at the entrance. While infrared systems are great for precise detection, radar offers broader coverage, making them suitable for different environments. Both options contribute to creating a seamless shopping experience by ensuring the doors respond quickly and accurately to customer movements. Over time, I’ve noticed that some supermarkets prefer infrared sensing because it provides a cleaner aesthetic without the additional posts. However, radar sensing tends to be more versatile in crowded areas since it can pick up movement from multiple angles. It’s fascinating how these small details can make such a big difference in day-to-day operations!
