1. The fan impeller is damaged or deformed

Failure analysis: corrosion or wear on the blade surface or nail head

Elimination method: If it is damaged individually, individual parts should be replaced. If the damage is more than half, the impeller should be replaced.

Failure analysis: loose rivets and blades

Elimination method: hold tight with a small punch, if it is still invalid, you need to replace the rivet

Failure analysis: The impeller is skewed too much after being deformed, causing the impeller to jump radially or the end face to jump too much

Elimination method: After removing the impeller, straighten it with a hammer, or lay the impeller flat and use a side edge of the pressure disc

2. The fan case is overheated

Elimination method: shutdown, restart after cooling

3. The sealing ring is worn or damaged

Failure analysis: The seal ring and the shaft sleeve are different from the shaft and are worn out during normal operation

Failure analysis: the casing is deformed, causing one side of the seal ring to wear

Failure analysis: the rotor vibration is too large, and the half of its radial amplitude is greater than the seal radial clearance

Failure analysis: Hard debris enters the sealing teeth, such as metal, welding slag, etc.

Failure analysis: the thrust bushing melts, causing the contact surface of the seal ring and the seal teeth to wear

Elimination method: first remove external influencing factors, then replace the seal ring, readjust and correct the position of the seal ring

4. The belt slips or the belt jumps

Failure analysis: the positions of the two pulleys are not aligned, and they are not on the same center line

Elimination method: rediscover the positive pulley

Failure analysis: the distance between the two pulleys is close or the belt is too long

Elimination method: adjust the tightness of the belt, its method, or adjust the distance between the two pulleys, or replace the appropriate belt
