A wet curtain, also known as a water curtain, is a honeycomb-shaped structure made from treated paper. The manufacturing process typically involves several stages, including sizing, drying, corrugating, shaping, gluing, solidifying, cutting, grinding, and deodorizing. This ensures the final product is both durable and efficient in its function.
In China, wet curtains are commonly available with three different wave heights: 5mm, 7mm, and 9mm. The corrugation angles vary, with common configurations such as 60°×30° staggered and opposite, or 45°×45° staggered. These variations affect the performance and suitability for different applications.
High-quality wet curtains are now manufactured using advanced polymer materials and space cross-linking technology. This innovation brings numerous benefits, including excellent water absorption, strong water resistance, and resistance to mold and decay. These curtains also offer an extended service life.
