Mold silicone operation:
There are three types of mold opening for silicone molds: overmold (filling mold) and dies (sheet mold). The mold silica gel is a flowing white liquid, which is divided into two groups: Group A is silica gel, and B is a curing agent. The mold opening method includes a package mold, a brush mold (slice mold, a three-dimensional mold, a flat mold), and a perfusion mold.
Brush mold (sheet mold): The general brush three-layer type is required according to the mold, and the first layer brush is vacuumed on the mold and brushed in place. The second layer is gauze cloth, and the third layer is coated with silica gel to form a solidified film.

First apply a layer of release agent or mold to the product or model to be copied, then take a certain amount of silica gel and curing agent (preferably weigh it with electronic scale), mix well, evacuate, and take time. Do not use too much time. The silicone is applied to the top of the product (note: be sure to apply evenly). After waiting for 30 minutes, the gel will react with the gel, so that the second layer of silica gel is evenly brushed. Then the surface is pasted with a layer of gauze or glass. The fiber woven fabric is used to increase the strength, and then the third layer of silica gel or the like is dried, and then the outer mold is used. The outer mold can be made of a material such as gypsum or resin.
Remarks: After applying a layer of silica gel, it is best to apply a layer of silica gel when the silica gel is cross-linked, instead of immediately gauze or fiberglass cloth. The reason is: generally thinner, especially fiberglass cloth. It is harder and makes it easier to make the inner layer of the mold smoother, thus affecting the effect of the copied product.
The operation method of the overmold (perfusion mold):
A relatively smooth or simple product, surrounded by a rubber or glass plate, a certain silica gel and a curing agent are mixed uniformly, and the vacuumed silica gel is directly poured onto the product. After the silica gel is dried and formed, the product is taken out. It is formed (Note: The mold is generally made of silica gel with a softer hardness, so that the mold release is easier and does not damage the product inside the silicone mold).
The method of making the outer mold:
The commonly used method and material is to surround the mold with rubber plates or wooden boards. It is enough to fill the mold cabinet with gypsum. The other method uses resin coating to apply a layer of resin and paste a layer. The fiberglass cloth is painted and pasted, and it can be repeated two or three layers.
Remarks: The outer mold must be made for the mold, because the mold made by the mold is more easily deformed, and an outer mold is used to prevent the mold from deforming.
