Affected by the international financial crisis, China's foundry machine tool industry has seen a trend of negative profit growth and weaker corporate profitability in recent years. The growth rate of sales in the whole industry showed a significant decline. Enterprises with negative growth in new orders accounted for 76.6%, and enterprises with negative growth in orders accounted for 86.1%, with the largest decline even reaching 84%, which means that a considerable number of foundry companies may be in the fourth quarter. The dilemma of facing all production suspensions is even bankruptcy. It is reported that the difficulty in sales of foundry products is an important reason for the above phenomenon in foundry enterprises. According to statistics, in October 2012, the sales value of China's foundry machine tool industry showed a sharp decline from the previous nine months. Among them, the growth rate of casting cutting tool manufacturing, casting machine tool accessories manufacturing, and other special equipment manufacturing industries accounted for a large decline, and the year-on-year growth rate fell by 34.86, 26.34 and 27.05 percentage points respectively. Judging from the output of major products, in October, the seven products of China's foundry machine tool industry declined overall, and the numerical control equipment for foundry machine tools declined the most, down 62.75 percentage points year-on-year.
