Nitrogen is required during the rainy season. In the rainy season from June to July, especially in orchards with poor fertility, nitrogen fertilizers are severely leached with rainfall, which may cause nitrogen deficiency and premature aging or early decline of functional leaves. Therefore, the supply of nitrogen fertilizer in the rainy season should be guaranteed.

Applying nitrogen fertilizer in spring is not effective for flowering and fruit setting in the same year. Nitrogen is generally in the form of nitrate nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen. After the ammonium nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen enter the fruit tree, they are converted into nitrogen dioxide, which is combined with carbohydrate to form amino acids, which are stored in the tree. Although the timing of this conversion process is not clear, it certainly takes a long time. Fruit tree flowering and fruit setting require nitrogen in the form of amino acids already stored in the tree. Therefore, the nitrogen supplementation of fruit trees should be applied to the base fertilizer in the autumn (from late August to early September, mainly organic fertilizer, combined with phosphorus and potassium fertilizer). After harvesting, apply nitrogen fertilizer or foliar spray 1 or 2 times of high-concentration nitrogen fertilizer. (in the principle of no fat damage), and should not supplement nitrogen in spring.
