The material of the gear and the heat treatment method have great influence on the bearing capacity of the gear transmission. The most vulnerable high-speed tooth material is 42CrMo, which is now changed to 34CrNi3Mo.
Heat treatment process: The tooth surface hardness is improved from HB260~280 to HB320~341, and the tooth surface contact bearing capacity is greatly improved. This is related to the heat treatment process of 42CrMo and 34CrNi3Mo. The 42CrMo tempering temperature is controlled at 560±10°C, and then air-cooled is used; the 34CrNi3Mo tempering temperature is controlled at 620±10°C by furnace cooling, and the temperature is required to be 250°C or less.
The accuracy of the machine tool is not high, the detection means is not perfect, the load will be uneven, and the gear damage will be serious. Therefore, it is necessary to choose a more reputable manufacturer, and change the original gear accuracy grade from 8GB/T15753-1995 to 7GB/T15753-1995. This makes the load distribution of the gears uniform and reduces the dynamic load factor. Reduce vibration and noise, and increase the life of the bearing.
The assembled gears have a very high requirement for the meshing contact area. Generally, the tooth surface contact length is 50%, and the height is 40%. In addition, since the gears are assembled sporadically, the necessary running and trimming are not performed, which is one of the causes of gear damage. Therefore, when the use is as much as possible, the gears are run for a certain period of time, and the assembly is heated by coke, and the electric furnace is heated at a constant temperature of 150 to 180 ° C to avoid the heat treatment performance and geometrical size change caused by uneven heat.
