With the deepening of reform and opening up, China’s power tool industry has undergone asset restructuring and increased efforts to attract foreign capital. It has formed a joint-stock company, private enterprise, and foreign-funded enterprise with a certain degree of development and design capabilities. It can mass-produce handheld and portable devices. The battery-type three-category industry of more than 300 varieties and more than 500 specifications of power tool products, the market is mainly distributed in Zhejiang, Jiangsu, of which Jiangsu Qidong is the most prominent.

According to statistics, in 2011, the total number of enterprises in the electric tool industry above designated size was 226 in total, and the scale of development was significantly expanded compared with 2010: the total industrial output value was 42.929 billion yuan, an increase of 28.86% year-on-year; the sales revenue reached 42.382 billion yuan, an increase of 36.33 years. %, the largest growth rate in recent years.

It is worth noting that domestic enterprises (including foreign-funded enterprises) account for 90% of the domestic market, among which multinational corporations investing in China occupy obvious advantages, and the top five domestically-funded enterprises have only annual sales combined only for the domestic market.
