Dalian Dayou also introduces TI high current PMBus converter with frequency synchronization function

Datongda Holdings, a leading semiconductor component distributor dedicated to the Asia-Pacific market, announced that its subsidiary has introduced TI's first 20A and 30A synchronous DC/DC buck converters with frequency synchronization capabilities --- TPS544B25 and TPS544C25. This converter features frequency synchronization for low noise and reduced EMI/EMC, and a PMBus interface for self-adjusting voltage scaling (AVS). TI's SWIFT 20A TPS544B25 and 30A TPS544C25 converters incorporate MOSFETs and are specifically packaged in a small PowerStack quad flat no-lead (QFN) package to drive ASICs in space-constrained and power-intensive applications for different applications, including wired and Wireless communications, enterprise and cloud computing, and data storage systems.

At the same time, Datong University has also launched TI's award-winning WEBENCH online design tool, which, in combination with the two devices introduced this time, will simplify power conversion and speed up the power supply design process.

Today's high-conformity converters feature 0.5% reference accuracy and fully differential remote voltage sensing to meet the voltage requirements of deep submicron processors. Synchronizing with the frequency of the external frequency eliminates beat noise and reduces EMI. In addition, the TPS544B25 and TPS544C25 provide pin settings that enable the device to boot to an output voltage set by a single resistor without the need for a PMBus command. Programmability through PMBus, real-time monitoring of output voltage and current with external temperature, and fault reporting simplify power supply design, increase reliability, and reduce component count and system cost.

For applications such as enterprise Ethernet switches, TI also offers the UCD90240 24 voltage rail PMBus power sequencer and power manager. When combined, the TPS544C25 and UCD90240 provide a complete PMBus Point of Load (POL) and sequencing solution.
