Dipping and drying are the key processes and processes in the motor production and processing process. The dipping effect is directly related to the performance of the motor and even affects the service life of the motor. Dalan Motor Xiaobian talked with everyone about the immersion control of YE2 series three-phase asynchronous motor.

The motor winding is dipped and dried, the purpose is to drive out the moisture contained in the insulation and winding, fill the gap with insulating varnish, improve the insulation strength and moisture resistance of the winding, and improve the heat resistance and heat dissipation of the winding. Curing after lacing also improves the mechanical properties, chemical stability, thermal conductivity and heat dissipation of the winding insulation and delays aging. The quality of the motor immersion paint directly affects the temperature rise and service life of the motor.

Pre-baking control before dipping:

(1) The purpose of pre-baking is to remove moisture in the windings and increase the temperature of the workpiece during immersion to ensure the quality of the immersion paint and the permeability of the paint.

(2) The pre-baking heating should be gradually increased, and the temperature rising speed should be no more than 20-30 degrees/hour. The pre-baking temperature is determined by the insulation grade, and is kept at a specified temperature for a certain period of time (different manufacturers have different process requirements), and then the pre-baked winding is cooled to 60-80 degrees to start dip coating.

Dipping process and control:

(1) Pay attention to the temperature of the workpiece, the viscosity of the immersion, and the time of immersion paint.

(2) If the temperature of the workpiece is too high, the solvent in the paint will evaporate rapidly, so that the surface of the winding will form a paint film prematurely, and it will not easily penetrate into the inside of the winding, which will also cause material waste; if the temperature is too low, the pre-baking will be lost, so that the paint is The viscosity is increased, the fluidity and permeability are poor, and the dipping effect is also poor. Practice has proved that it is better to dip the paint at a temperature of about 70 degrees.

(3) The viscosity of the paint should be selected appropriately. If the dip coating process is used twice, it is desirable to soak the paint into the inside of the winding during the first dipping. Therefore, the flow of the paint is required to be better, so the viscosity of the paint should be lower; In the case of secondary dipping, it is mainly desirable to form a good paint film on the surface of the winding, so the viscosity of the paint should be larger.

Drying process control:

Drying is a particularly critical process. How to ensure the curing effect of the winding is as important as possible after the dipping finish. The key points of this process control are:

(1) The gel temperature of the paint is reached in the shortest possible time to prevent the loss of paint.

(2) to ensure the uniformity of the paint, better motor factories use special processes and equipment (such as rotating oven), can do this, but most companies can not.

(3) The control of the furnace temperature, one can not burn the winding too high, and the other is that the furnace temperature is uneven and the winding is partially overheated and burned.
