The environmental protection targets proposed by Jincheng also involve enterprises, and the same regulations stipulate that enterprises that are not in place for rectification will be suspended.
It is understood that Jincheng City will carry out centralized rectification of casting enterprises from June 1 to September 30. The main contents of rectification include: must fully construct or improve desulfurization and denitrification facilities, and be equipped with high-efficiency dust removal devices; Emissions shall be subject to special emission limits for relevant standards; construction of fully enclosed material yards; production of VOCs shall be sealed; standardization of exhaust gas discharges shall be carried out.
The special rectification is divided into three phases, including comprehensive investigation, centralized rectification and summary reporting. From June 1st to September 30th, the county (city, district) Environmental Protection Bureau will strengthen law enforcement supervision, and the foundry enterprises that fail to meet the standards will immediately stop production and rectification. Before the end of September, the city and foundry enterprises must complete the rectification work in strict accordance with the requirements of the “Special Remediation Plan for the Foundry Industry of Jincheng City†and file with the local environmental protection department. From October 1st, enterprises that are not in place for rectification will be suspended.
