Common terms and definitions of rolling bearings: bearing equipment

1. Paired device pairedmounting
The two sets of tumbling bearing ends face a device on the same axis as the end face; it can be regarded as a whole when working. The bearing can be back-to-back, face-to-face or in series.
2. Combination unit stackmounting
Three or more sets of rolling bearing ends face a device on the same axis as the end face; it can be regarded as a whole when working.
3. Back-to-bacdarrangement
Two sets of rolling bearings adjacent to the outer ring of the opposite side of the device approach.
4. Face-to-facearrangement
Two sets of tumbling bearings adjacent to the outer ring front facing the front of the device approach.
5. Tandem equipment
The set of bearing outer ring of two or more sets of rolling bearings is opposite to the front of the outer ring of the next set of bearings.
6. Paired matchpair
Two sets of rolling bearings selected or made according to a predetermined characteristic (generally according to preload or clearance); and installed together according to the rules.
7. Matching matched stack
Three or more sets of rolling bearings are rated according to their characteristics; generally selected or produced according to preload or clearance; and installed together according to the rules.
