【ALUMINIUM NETWORK】Polyurethane-based powder coatings, although offering excellent performance and durability, are rarely found on the market due to their high production costs. As a result, most manufacturers opt for more cost-effective alternatives such as polyester/TGIC or polyester/HAA powder coatings. However, for specific applications like heat transfer on aluminum profiles, specialized formulations are required. Below are the basic formulas for three types of powder coatings commonly used in the industry.

(1) Outdoor Matte Wood Powder Coating Formula: - Polyester resin: 600 parts - XG665 light curing agent: 140 parts - TGIC curing agent: 1 part - PV8810: 10 parts - Benzoin: 4 parts - Precipitation hydrazine: 300 parts - R-902: 100 parts - Polyethylene wax: 7 parts - Pigment: as needed

Curing Conditions: 200°C for 10 minutes Heat Transfer Conditions: 180°C for 5 minutes Gloss (60°): 3%

(2) Outdoor High-Gloss Wood Powder Coating Formula: - Polyester resin: 600 parts - 333 curing agent: 32 parts - PV889: 10 parts - 70111: 10 parts - Benzoin: 4 parts - Precipitation enthalpy: 300 parts - R-902: 100 parts - Polyethylene wax: 7 parts - Pigment: as needed

Curing Conditions: 200°C for 10 minutes Heat Transfer Conditions: 180°C for 5 minutes Gloss (60°): 90%

(3) Polyurethane Matte Wood Grain Powder Coating Formula: - Hydroxy resin (high hydroxyl value): 200 parts - Hydroxy resin (low hydroxyl value): 460 parts - B1530: 30 parts - Leveling agent: 20 parts - Barium sulfate: 270 parts - R902: 240 parts - Other additives: 30 parts - Pigment: as needed

Curing Conditions: 200°C for 10 minutes Heat Transfer Conditions: 180°C for 5 minutes Gloss (60°): 6%

These formulations are tailored to meet different surface finish requirements while ensuring good adhesion, weather resistance, and heat transfer efficiency. Choosing the right type of powder coating depends on the desired aesthetic outcome and environmental conditions the product will be exposed to.
