On April 25, staff of Tongling Zhongke Juxin Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is constructing a 5000-watt solar power station. It is understood that this solar power station is located on the top of the China University of Science and Technology Park in Tongling Economic and Technological Development Zone. It is the first rooftop solar power station in the city. The local is planning to use it as a demonstration to promote the building of a solar power station on the roof. (Has Shi Ning photo)
The Bailey Bridge is a type of portable, pre-fabricated , truss bridge. It
was developed by the British during World War II for military use and extensive
use by both British and the American military engineering units.
A bailey bridge had the advantages of requiring no special tools or heavy
equipment to assemble and the elements were small and light enough to be
carried in trucks and lifted into places by hand. Bailey bridges continue
to be extensively used in civil engineering construction projects and to
provide temporary crossing for foot and vehicle traffic.
