Celery soft rot, also known as rot disease, is a bacterial soil-borne disease that is generally susceptible to disease when the ridges are shaded and the ground is wet.
The pathogens mainly overwinter in the soil and are transmitted through insects, operations, rainwater or irrigation water, and invade from the wounds. After the disease, they can be extended by rain or irrigation water. The onset temperature is 25-30 °C, the rain is more or sprinkled, the humidity is high, and the incidence is high. There are many wounds, heavy ground, low-lying land, poor drainage, and serious onset.
The control methods of celery soft rot are as follows:
(1) Implementing a rotation of more than two years. Use disease-resistant varieties, disease-free soil seedlings.
(2) Avoid root damage, do not overdo the soil, pay attention to drainage during the rainy season, and sprinkle water or stop sprinkling as much as possible during the onset period. Once the diseased plant is found to be removed in time, the diseased hole should be disinfected or replaced with 1:20 times formalin, or some lime can be used to disinfect the soil.
(3) Using Nongkang 751 powder or Fengling soluble powder, seed dressing after 1% of seed content, or mix 200g seed with 2% Nongkang 751 water agent 100 times liquid 15 ml, and then cultivated after drying.
(4) In the cultivation ditch, use 2 kg of 2% agricultural anti-751 water agent or 1 kg of Fengling soluble powder, add 50 kg of water, and apply evenly in the ditch of an acre.
(5) 500 ml of Fengling soluble powder at the seedling stage, add 50 kg of water, irrigate the roots and spray the petiole and base, or when sprinkling water, participate in 2-3 kg of agricultural anti-751 water per acre with water.
(6) In the early stage of the disease, it can spray 100-150ppm times of streptomycin or neomycin with agricultural spray, spray once every 7 days, and even spray 2-3 times. It can also be used with 30% DT wettable powder 400-500 times liquid or 95% CT sterilizing agent 600 times liquid or 77% can kill wettable powder 600-800 times liquid or 70% dexamethasone wettable powder 700 times liquid, etc. Spray the plants and irrigate the roots and necks, then sprinkle once a day for 10 days.
