Zhejiang Bureau Achieves Three Years of Geological Prospecting

A few days ago, the Geological Work Conference of the Zhejiang Geological Prospecting Bureau stated that the Bureau’s geological prospecting has achieved periodic results, and it has submitted 22 mineral exploration sites that can be further explored and developed within 3 years. It has newly identified resource reserves of 1.15 tons, silver 1676.78 tons, and copper. There were 74,200 tons, 640,300 tons of lead and zinc, 26,900 tons of molybdenum, 7.7333 million tons of fluorspar minerals, 500,000 tons of pyrophyllite, and 14.33 million tons of calcite.

It is understood that the Zhejiang Geological Prospecting Bureau has now achieved the expected goal of significant progress in three years, and some mineral species have also completed the five-year target in advance. In the past three years, the Bureau has completed a total of 35,753 geological projects, among which 3,140 geological surveys and 8,791 geological environments. The monetary workload is 2.455 billion yuan, including 593 million yuan in geological exploration and 554 million yuan in geological environment. At present, there are 244 mineral rights in total, the quantity and quality of mining rights have been further optimized, and the transfer price has reached 279 million yuan.

In the past three years, the Bureau has implemented a mineral exploration project throughout the province, focusing on the exploration of minerals such as Luan-Linan silver-lead-zinc-zinc fluorspar, Kaihua-Jiangshan gold-molybdenum lead-zinc fluorspar, and Qianjiang area* polymetallic minerals. A batch of large and medium-sized mineral deposits such as Minjiang XX* ore and Luan Yinshan Silver Polymetallic Deposit were evaluated.
