New energy industry weekly report: The photovoltaic industry continues to differentiate

Photovoltaic prices slightly stabilizing signs

PVinsights data shows that last week the price of photovoltaic products still showed a downward trend, but the decline was limited. As the photovoltaic industry is about to enter the traditional peak season, and the continuous destocking process is gradually coming to an end, the photovoltaic industry is more likely to stabilize in the third quarter. At present, the operating conditions of domestic photovoltaic manufacturers are very different. The continuous decline in prices caused customers to be more critical of their product requirements. Earlier enterprises that had obtained industry access qualifications had formed a good brand image. At present, orders and sales are in good condition. In comparison, companies in Jiangsu and Zhejiang established relatively late companies with small scales. It has been difficult to obtain orders at the moment, and at the same time, the sharp drop in gross profit level has made it difficult for the company to make profits.

Polysilicon Industry Approval to Begin to Review the First Batch of Applications Next Month

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China issued the "Polysilicon Industry Access Application Report" to all provinces and cities, requesting verification of the materials approved by the first applicant and submitting the audit results and materials to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology by July 15. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will organize experts and entrust relevant testing organizations to review and inspect the application materials, and then publish the list of polysilicon companies that meet the conditions of accession in the form of announcements together with relevant ministries and commissions. Concerns over the potential overcapacity of polysilicon have prompted the introduction of the “Report”, and China’s polysilicon industry access conditions will enter into a substantive operation stage from next month. The degree of standardization of the industry development will gradually increase, and polycrystalline silicon leading enterprises that have already formed large-scale production will obviously benefit.

Energy Administration: Photovoltaic emission level Internet access in 2015

At the seminar on the large-scale development of solar power held on June 9, the Deputy Director of the New Energy and Renewable Energy Division of the National Energy Administration, Liang Zhipeng, said that the Energy Bureau initially considered that by 2015, China’s solar power generation will achieve user-friendly access to the Internet. The price of solar power in 2020 is basically the same as traditional fossil energy.

At present, the price of solar power in China is about 1 yuan per kilowatt-hour without consideration of land cost, in which the price of photovoltaic power generation drops to 0.73 yuan, but it is still 3-4 times that of coal-fired power generation, and it is in contrast with wind power. It is about 50% higher than it is.

By 2015, achieving parity-free access to the Internet at the user side means that the price of solar power will drop by around RMB 0.2 during the “12th Five-Year Plan” period, which means that the cost of solar-generated electricity will be reduced to below RMB 0.8 per kWh. The price of electricity generated was reduced to around 0.5 yuan, which is equal to the current price of wind power.

According to the data released by the Energy Bureau at the meeting, by the end of 2010, the cumulative capacity of China's photovoltaic power generation was 860,000 kilowatts, of which grid-connected photovoltaics were 700,000 kilowatts, and off-grid PV was 160,000 kilowatts; that year added 580,000 kilowatts, of which grid-connected photovoltaics 55 million kilowatts.
