GSU grinding machine is divided into two series of 30B and 40B; GSU-30B series has the diameter of 300mm, 500mm, 750mm, 1000mm and 1500mm between the holes of the table; GSU-40B series has the diameter of 470mm, 720mm, 970mm. Non-concentric hydrodynamic bearings ensure optimum grinding angle for precise rotation of the grinding wheel. The tailstock is mounted with a large diameter spindle to further ensure machining accuracy during strong grinding. In addition, the grinding machine uses a spiral compression ring to compensate for thermal expansion in the workpiece; the separate oil tank avoids thermal displacement inside the machine.

The GSU grinding machine also offers an optional closed hydrostatic rail grinding head feed and direct drive shaft rotation, with CX axis control for eccentric outer diameter grinding and non-eccentric outer diameter grinding.
