In the second half of last year, Shandong's unforged aluminum and aluminum exports declined.

According to statistics, starting from June, the export volume of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products in Shandong Province declined month by month, and the export volume in September and October showed a significant year-on-year decline. In October, the export volume was only 15,000 tons, much lower than that in May. 51,000 tons.

The main reason for the decline in exports is that this year China has further intensified its macro-control over aluminum exports. From July 1 onwards, some aluminum export tax rebates will be lifted. From August 1, non-aluminum alloy aluminum rods, Aluminum rods impose a 15% export provisional tariff. The apparent drop in the volume of unforged aluminum and aluminum exports indicates that the effects of macro-control policies began to show.
