The primary damage of the cross shaft is: wear, crack, and severe damage to the outer surface of the cross shaft (such as metal falling off, significant collapse, etc.). In addition, for the cross shaft, you should also repair the following:
(1) Check the cooperation gap between the cross shaft bearing and the cross journal, clamp the cross shaft on the vise, the needle bearing is placed on the cross shaft journal, and use the dial indicator to abut the highest point on the outside of the bearing shell. The needle roller bearing shell is pushed forward, and the change value of the pointer movement on the dial indicator is the cooperation between the bearing and the cross shaft. The gap should be less than 0. 05mm.
(2) The needle roller bearing of the cross shaft bearing shall not have severe ablation, rust, fatigue and shedding, otherwise it shall be replaced. When replacing, ensure that the length and diameter of the needle roller are common.
(3) The upper bearing of the cross-bearing plate (supporting piece) should be completely firm and secure, the bolt should be intact, the thread damage should not be more than two teeth, and it should not be corrected or replaced according to the situation.
