China's plastic machinery main business profit continued to rise

In terms of import and export, from January to October, China imported a total of 24,874 plastic machinery, with an import value of about 1.113 billion US dollars. The import volume increased by 61% year-on-year, but the amount decreased by 15% year-on-year. The average unit price of imports was 80,000 US dollars per unit in the same period of last year. It fell to $40,000 per unit. The year-on-year increase in imports was due to: plastic granulator 37%, plastic blow molding machine 18%, plastic calendering machine 23%, 3D printer 5%; injection molding machine, extruder and blow molding machine imported differently The degree of decline. Among them, 4,209 imported injection molding machines, about 437 million US dollars, down 19% and 22% respectively; imported 682 extruders, about 271 million US dollars, down 7% and 16% respectively; imported 183 blow molding machines, About US$116 million, down 32% and 21% respectively.

A total of 500,628 plastic machinery were exported, with an export value of about 1.602 billion US dollars. The export volume and amount increased by 57% and 3% respectively, and the trade surplus was about 489 million US dollars. The year-on-year increase in export volume was mainly concentrated in injection molding machines, extruders, plastic calendering machines and 3D printers. Among them, 22,384 sets of injection molding machines were exported, about 818 million US dollars, up 21% and 1% respectively; exporting extruders were 40,713 units, about 320 million US dollars, up 367% and 3% respectively; exporting blow molding machines was 6,923 units. About 149 million US dollars, the number fell by 11%, but the amount increased by 3%.

From January to October, the average unit price of China's plastic machinery exports was US$0.3 million per unit, mainly due to the large export volume of 3D printers and other molding machines, which led to a decline in the overall average price level. Among them, 2,695,78 3D printers were exported, accounting for 54% of the total export volume in the same period, but the amount was only 57.97 million US dollars, and the unit price was 0.02 million US dollars.

In terms of the source of imports, the quantity and amount of plastics imported from Asia from January to October accounted for 85.16% and 54.75% respectively, of which imports from Japan decreased by 13.36% year-on-year; the volume and amount of imports from Europe accounted for 6.69% and 41.22% respectively. Imports from Germany and Italy decreased by 11.5% and 2.65% respectively, and imports from Austria increased by 6.33%.

From January to October, among the top 10 countries in China's plastic machine export market, exports to Vietnam, the United States, Indonesia, Turkey, India and Mexico grew rapidly, while exports to Thailand fell by 33.54%.
