The first meeting of the Fourth Council of Abrasives and Abrasives Branch of China Machine Tool Industry Association was held on March 22-24, 2006 in Hankou, Hubei.
In accordance with the three sessions of the Abrasives and Abrasives Branch, the third session of the Board of Directors discussed and approved the approval plan approved by the China Machine Tool Industry Association. The Fourth Member Congress of the Abrasives and Abrasives Branch was held in the middle and late February 2006 by letter. The Fourth Member Congress of Abrasives and Abrasives Branch passed the "Report of the Third Council of the Branch", the "Regulations on the Work of the Branch" and the "Members of Membership and Membership Payment of Clubs", and elected 80 governing units. The fourth council formed.
The Abrasives and Abrasives Branch of the Fourth Session of the Council was attended by 62 directors and was held concurrently with the “2006 Spring National Abrasives Information Exchange and the 43rd Corundum Silicon Carbide Fairâ€. The Council heard the “Analysis of the economic performance of the industry in 2005 and the situation facing the industry in 2006†by Chen Hesheng, the third secretary-general of the Abrasives and Abrasives Branch, and visited the products of the fair. The fourth session of the council was chaired by Lai Xueli, the vice chairman of the third session of the council. The Secretary-General, Chen Hesheng, introduced the preparations for the re-election and the process of convening the four-member congress and the directors and executive directors, and the candidates for the vice-presidents. In the following circumstances, the four-term standing council consisting of 38 units will be elected in the final election; 20 will be elected as the vice-president unit, among which Chen Hesheng, the executive director of China Mill, will be elected as the executive director of China Abrasives Import and Export Corporation. Manager Yuan Jinyu is the chairman of the 4th Council of Abrasives and Abrasives Branch; Cui Yu is the secretary-general of the 4th Secretariat of the branch; Zhou Jinlong and Dai Hongjun are the deputy secretary-generals, and the meeting successfully completed the reelection of the Council of Abrasives and Abrasives Branch .
The new secretary-general and deputy secretary-general of the council respectively reported on the “Major Work Arrangements for the 2006 Branch†and the “Recommendation Committee on Establishing Brand Evaluations†and “On the Establishment of Expert Pools and Expert Committeesâ€. The governors discussed the work arrangement and the two proposals and passed them in principle. The meeting adopted the minutes of the first meeting of the four sessions of the Council.
Yu Chengting, executive vice chairman of the China Machine Tool Industry Association, attended the meeting and delivered an important speech. He fully affirmed the work of the previous Council and made a high evaluation of Chen Hesheng's previous work summary, industry situation analysis and the work arrangement of the new Secretary-General. Focused on the adjustment of structure, striving for brand and product export issues.
