Russia, China, and Mongolia believe that the cooperation of the three countries in resources and energy is promising

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued an announcement on the 23rd according to the results of informal consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, China, and Mongolia that the cooperation among the three countries in mineral exploration and energy is the most promising.

The sixth round of the ministerial-level officials of the three countries’ foreign ministries was held in Yanji, China on the 19th.

The announcement stated: "The prospective three-party cooperation areas have been identified: mineral exploration, energy, infrastructure project construction, transportation, environmental protection, tourism and humanities."

The Russian Foreign Ministry pointed out that the three parties agreed that the cooperation between Russia, China and Mongolia is in line with the interests of the three countries and is conducive to regional peace, stability and prosperity. The three parties also confirmed that they will continue to increase diversified and pragmatic cooperation and strengthen the establishment of a tripartite dialogue mechanism.

The announcement pointed out: "The three countries have positively evaluated the progress made in the tripartite cooperation and exchanged in-depth opinions on the primary areas of cooperation between Russia, China, and Mongolia as well as major regional and international issues that represent the interests of all parties."
