In the general processing of thread on a general-purpose drilling machine, the process is often followed: drilling the bottom hole → hole chamfering → tapping. However, for some irregular shapes, the workpieces that need to be clamped twice on different toolings are inefficient and the quality cannot be guaranteed. To this end, we have designed a new type of quick-release drill template fixture, which allows the workpiece to be concentrated on the drill mold in a single step of clamping. This improves the work efficiency, guarantees the quality, and expands the processing application range of the drill. The examples are as follows:
