Inadequacies of iodine tungsten lamps

The iodine vapor is purple-red, which will have a certain effect on the brightness and luminous efficiency of the iodine-tungsten lamp. When the iodine-tungsten lamp is working, there is gas convection in the bulb, and the temperature of the individual sites may fall to a level that is insufficient to maintain the iodine-tungsten cycle reaction, resulting in partial blackening of the bulb. Also, the horizontally placed tubular iodine-tungsten lamp must be placed flat with bromine instead of sulfur, and the inclination must not exceed 4 degrees, otherwise the life of the lamp will be affected. The bromine tungsten lamp can overcome these disadvantages to a considerable extent.

The bromine-tungsten cycle is similar to the iodine-tungsten cycle, except that the chemical nature of bromine is more active than iodine, which is a more diligent “porter than iodine. The amount of bromine in the bromine-tungsten lamp is more strictly controlled, and the filament temperature is compared slightly. Corrosion occurs in low areas.

Experimental studies have shown that hydrogen can moderate the chemical activity of bromine. If hydrogen bromide or bromine hydrocarbons are charged into the lamp, the corrosive effect on the metal parts inside the lamp will be much lighter.

The hydrogen bromide in the bromine tungsten lamp can be used for the normal bromo-tungsten cycle at a wall temperature of 200 to 1100 ° C, so it can be used to produce a high-power, high-efficiency electric light source. Bromine cleans the glass wall better than iodine, and the problem of blackening the glass is basically solved. Hydrogen bromide is a colorless and transparent gas that does not absorb visible light and is more efficient than iodine-tungsten lamps. The gas convection in the bromine tungsten lamp does not affect the life of the lamp, and it must not be placed horizontally like the iodine tungsten lamp. In many positions, bromine-tungsten lamps have replaced iodine-tungsten lamps. The shape of bromo-tungsten lamps has a variety of shapes, a bit shape, a line shape, and a spot-like bromo-tungsten lamp with high operating temperature and luminous efficiency. It is widely used in optical instruments, film screening, and lithography.

Since the advent of incandescent lamps in 1879, people have had an indissoluble bond with electric lights. With the continuous development of science and technology, new lights in the electric light source family have come forth in large numbers.

Electric Planer

An electric planer is a power tool with a rotating blade drum; it is designed for the chip-re-moving treatment of mainly wood or plastic surfaces. The electric planer is similar in design, handing and performance to the conventional and generally well knows manual planer. The high rotational speed of the universal motor is transmitted to the blade drum by an elastic belt drive.
