General Administration of Customs: China’s total import and export value in August fell 20.6% year-on-year

According to figures released by the General Administration of Customs on the 11th, the total value of China's imports and exports in August decreased by 20.6% year-on-year. Among them, exports fell by 23.4%, and imports fell by 17%.

In the first eight months, the total value of China's foreign trade import and export was 1,336.855 billion US dollars, down 22.4% year-on-year. In the first eight months, China’s total export value fell by 22.2% year-on-year, and the total value of imports fell by 22.7%.
