EDU endurance test overview
The prototype of the hybrid electric drive EDU is shown in Figure 1. The EDU's endurance test development includes transmission endurance test and shift endurance test development. The test equipment includes the transmission endurance test bench and the shift endurance test bench.

The transmission endurance test is divided into bench test and road test. The conditions of use of the car are very complicated. The road test is the actual driving test of the car on the real road. It is an indispensable part of the development work, which requires a lot of time, money and resources. Durable bench test in the product development stage is helpful to verify the comprehensive durability of the transmission earlier, avoiding the passive after the road test failure, saving time and money for the development work, and having an important reference for verifying the durability of the drive train. value.
The transmission shift durability test is the main component of the transmission development phase test. The main assessment content is the durability of the synchronizer. The shift endurance test is an important test to assess the life of the synchronizer. It is difficult to simulate the synchronizer system to complete the synchroniser fatigue simulation. The bench test is currently the most effective method.
1. Transmission endurance test equipment
The transmission durability bench test is a load verification test for the gears, shafts and bearings that can maintain the product in a stable state during the working life. It is verified that the gears do not experience contact fatigue failure and bending fatigue failure under cyclic load.
(1) Equipment construction The test equipment used for the EDU transmission endurance test is the 3E-machine test bench. The structural diagram of the gantry is shown in Figure 2. The gantry input is connected to the EDU transmission by a belt drive instead of the engine. The EDU transmission output is connected to the output motor of the test rig through the adapter and the drive shaft.
